“The Lumberjack” Zach Suttles is back
The Lumberjack Zach Suttles has been plaqued with injuries since taking some time off to recover and heal but hes back and hungry as ever to return to the cage. “I”m ready to fight” says Suttles who returned to practice at the G-Force camp a month ago. My cardio might be down a little right now but with the core training we get at G-Force I can already see a big improvement in myself. I am really looking to improve my ground game to the best it’’s ever been and I have no doubt with all the new talent in the gym right now I have to train with it’’s just a matter of time before I get myself back where I was before my injuries. My last fight was almost 2 years ago with the now defunct AFL and I am hungry to get in there and knock someone out! said Suttles who fights Pro MMA at 170lb. “Its great to have Zach back it’’s a great asset to all the new amateur fighters to have someone like Suttles to train with, his intensity and heart in training sets a good example for the new guys and lets them know what it takes to become a pro mixed martial arts fighter”, says Mr.G. Zach is one of the original group of G-Force Fighters and has remained dedicated and loyal to the team. Hes still young and has a great future ahead of him and I really look forward to him getting back in the cage.

G-Force goes 4-2 at the MMA Bigshow
It was a good night for the team as 6 hungry mma fighters stepped into the cage ready to show the fans the next generation of G-Force fighters. Newcomer Mike Dabe has been anxious to get in the cage and show his teammates he had what it takes to represent Team G-Force and mma in cincinnati as well as continue the reputation the team carries for being one of the most aggressive fight clubs around. Mike got the night started off with a rear naked choke in the first round. Manager/Trainer (Mr.G) Ron Gabelman said “We’ve all been anxious to see Dabe get in the cage he trains real hard all the time and he’s improved so much since starting mma training just 6 months ago, he suffered a little adrenaline dump after the fight but thats typical for an amateur, thats why we call it getting their cherry popped. Mikes gonna be a top contender in the 185lb division.” Veteran G-Force fighter and original member Joe Pegg started of with a Bang landing a nice solid round kick to his opponents face before getting taken down. Joe pulled guard and nearly sunk a triangle but his opponent was able to pass in Joe quickly turned to his side but exposed a little to much of his back and was caught in a rear naked choke. Joe loves to stand up and bang but nobody ever wants to stay up with him once they get kicked in the face with his sweet dreams foot the always want to take him down, Joe normally fights 135 but since no 135’s were available he decided to fight up a weight class to get in on the MMA Bigshow. Next up for G-Force was fighter Jake Larter after opening up with a nice combination on his opponent Ricky Phillips. Phillips shot in for a single leg. Jake stuffed the takedown and pulled guard Phillips unleashed a birage of punches inside Jakes guard. Larter covered up and Phillips passed Jakes guard and moved into mount throwing more punches. Larter covered up again and reversed Phillips mount to end up in his guard. With only 30 seconds left in the round Jake unloaded his fury on Phillips until the bell rang. Phillips couldn’t answer the bell for the second round and Larter takes home the win. Last minute replacement Quinton Simpson stepped up to fight the heavy hands of Dominick Steele. Quinton only had 2 weeks to prepare for the fight and did well considering the experience and power of Steele losing to him in the first round. With time and good hard mma training Quinton will prove to be a force in the Heavyweight division. See theĀ post for the Champions Chris Bennett and Colt Helton for their results
