Womens MMA Training in Cincinnati

Cincinnati Womens MMA Training now available

The sport of MMA has grown incredibly in the last 15 years. In the past you didn’t see many Cincinnati womens MMA training Classes  in the area, but in the last year we have seen an increasingly amount of women starting to train. One reason women are getting more involved is they are seeing their favorite ladies fighting now on Strikeforce. Women like “Rowdy” Ronda Rousey, Meisha Tate, Alexis “Ally-Gator” Davis, Marloes “Rumina” Coenen just to name a few.

The reason the sport of mixed martial arts is getting popular with the ladies is because these women are showing that they to can put on a show and lay it all out there just like the guys. ” On a local level we are starting to see a few women pop up on a card. At the last Absolute Action MMA show 4 ladies put on 2 excellant fights. We never had a bunch of women or enough to even have a separate class, but in the past couple months we’ve had more women inquire about classes so we have started a class just for women. Most women want to train MMA and get in shape”, said Gabelman the Chief Instructor.” The same training the guys do the womens mma class does also. The women feel more comfortable training with other women and I’m fine with that”, Gabelman said.

“But theres also the women who want to train with the guys to get a little extra harder training in and I’m cool with that too”, we welcome them to train as much as they want or can take so to speak” said Mr.G

Women don’t have to train to fight they can train to get fit and stay in shape. They also benefit from Gabelmans 28 years experience in teaching Womens Self Defense. The classes don’t just deal with MMA the ladies learn defense against weapons, and street attacks. Mixed martial arts is the real deal when it comes to preparing for a fight or street confrontation, the drills we do prepare you to react to the situation.
